Leche it bad. My son would fall asleep after his last bottle but he never slept through the whole night with the milk and bottle in his mouth. Some kids do fall asleep with the bottle on their mouth the whole night and that's bad because the milk is still in the bottle and on their teeth. The milk can rot their teeth!!

The milk causes some serous damage. I want her teeth to be perfecto.

Really? but my brother drank his milk before bed and fell asleep like that for almost 4 years! His teeth are fine. And the new ones coming out now are even better.

YOU, have cookies, a few pieces of fruit, maybe some juice and then it's time for bed.
You have left over bits of all that food you just ate in your mouth. You brush your teeth, and then feel thirsty for a glass of milk. You have your milk and head to bed.

All you have is leche! what's so bad about that? worse is having EVERYTHING in there still until next morning!

She's 18 months, Chi... at worst, her teeth get rotten with the overnight milk over the next year or two... in three or four years she will loose ALL the current teeth and they ALL get replaced then. I say don't worry about brushing her teeth AT ALL!

Go smoke a joint instead while she drinks her milk!

LOL Girl, its not about whether she goes to bed without brushing her teeth. It's about the MILK that stays on her teeth. Milk has bacteria and it can cause damage to a childs teeth. That happens to many kids that fall asleep with the bottle in their mouth.
