I think you can show that to your child by the way you speak about his father... if lil man sees you together "getting along" he will question "why can't you just live together"???


I'm sure I would ask myself those questions, but then again, I had the fortune of growing up with my parents together...so I've never been in a situation like this....

I don't see a point in doing that but if you did, you should include your significant other and/or your ex's significant other.

I agree with God, I think that LIL MAN won't be confused, he well knows that you too are not together and that there is a +1 in daddy's life which is not you, so !!!!!!!!!!!

No man...is better to tell them the truth than suggar coat it..you need to approach it very very very nicely, I would say that was one of the hardest things I ever done; to tell my guys why daddy is leaving.....and reassure them that They will be fine and you always will be there...NOT EASY !

You're not hubby and wifey any more but you still a parent and Parenting takes 2...

Regardless you differences between you and him..the lil ones Need both of us. Sometimes is good to put aside pride and issued and show them support, they need to feel secure and despite mom and dad are not together they always will be there for him.
