He was getting a lot of criticism and a lot of politicians including Clinton were calling for his resignation. He was very stubborn man and defend the war with all kind of stupid arguments. Now that the oil production is back in control and Saddam will be Hanged, there's no much to do in Iraq. His resignation will show some important changes in the war policy; but more important than that, the victory of the democrats will bring a significant shift in the policies war against the Petrolism.
It's good news. but I would feel better if Chaney were the one resigning.
