Nothing comes out of it.....too much favoritism......
I've been to almost all of them.....and I've seen how some DJ's "cheat" and and all the misunderstandings that take place......
I agree with Phanta.......Scratching OK.......CD's....no!
But since maybe ONE out of Allllllllllllllllllllllll the Toronto Latin DJ's might know Vinyl.....ther'e no point!
Try something different....like for example DJ + couple VS DJ + couple......So basically all 3 are competing......I don't know....just an idea....it's like a dance/dj competition hybrid...lol

only if there's actual DJing involved ie: beatmatching and scratching / creating mixing
most of the latin "djs" are not really djs (ohhh, i'm going to get burned for that one). not much point in just listening to a guy cut from one track to the next. can just make a mix cd and play it.
