Finally a relevant question... I liked chillin with people who's talent I respect and blazin with them on the lower lever couches. I disliked listening to DIP DIP DIP seeeeeeeeet! the whole freakin way down and while we were there until the CD mysteriouly dissapeared... I left that part out of the article cause if u know G, he dont got the best sense of humour about these things...


8. And can we have some more info on this LRC?  (Educate us in other words)


 



Of course, there is an article on Latinurban.ca about that plus I believe they have a website which u can check for all kinds of interesting information.

I loved your review....I really did...it was FUNNY!!.....and the punch line of it was "the life of the famous ain't glamourous on a road trip" .....but what about the LRC???

to clarify, there is going to be an actual review up on the site covering who was there, who performed, pictures, who the pannelist were, how many people from machete records does it take to hand out tshirts, and all that. This one was more about us getting there kid of thing. Keep checking the site for more more LRC info.

The Latin Rap Conference, the first music industry conference focusing on Latin Rap, Reggaeton, and the Latin Urban genre, is coming back to New York City on October 11th-13th. Credited by Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Latin Media and Entertainment Commission for providing a testament to the genre’s ever-increasing potential and appeal, the LRC has built a strong re****tion for bringing together hundreds of participants


 

ranging from executives, publicists, marketers and corporations to artists, Indy labels and internet companies for the purpose of growing the Latin Rap and Reggaeton movement. LRC attracts major sponsors and media such as ASCAP, Clear Channel, Univision, Telemundo, Universal Records, Sony Music, MTV, Sirius, XM, and artists like N.O.R.E., Lil Rob, Chingo Bling, and Voltio. The next conference, being held at New York City hotspot LQ’s (Latin Quarters), will consist of informative panels discussing fundamental aspects of the trade and will feature showcases from both established and up-and-coming artists in the genre.

Organized by Jesse Perez, p.k.a. Shysti of Sicko Records, Rich Isaacson and Jerry Blair of Fuerte Group, and Clear Picture Entertainment Group, the LRC has become the forum for The Latin Rap Coalition Board of Directors (a group comprised of the genre’s top music executives, professionals, artists, and radio personalities) to discuss and take action towards the goals of education and Latino community empowerment. “The LRC has become the single most important networking event in this industry and we’re honored to have the full support of this growing community,” says Rich Isaacson who has already confirmed the addition of Boy Wonder of Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment, Elias DeLeon (owner of Puerto Rico’s White Lion Records), and Gaby Acevedo, President of SRC Records and manager to Tego Calderon, to the board of directors. So I read the article and it's the funniest thing ever!!!   LOL


I know it's all real....and I've been on "similar" road trips with funnier experiences but Phanta's choice of words were hilarious....good job on the writing skills as well....the flow of it all!


Congrats to the Canadian Latin Urban Acts: CODE BLUE, CRIOLLO & BLACK CACO.....


As entertaining as the article was.....and truthful when he states that "industry networking" was the only thing that happened at the Conference, I still have to go to another source to find out what really happened at the LRC and who was there (musically speaking)....


 


Did anyone read CHALE's "Is he cheating? Girl, drop him like it's hot" write up?
