Thanks, man – I think that’s more than enough tech-chat I can handle in one day.

Cheers!

I so hate those .bin and .cue files - I don't understand them for the life of me... not that I ever made great effort; but I was never successful at burning them properly and be able to view movies from those.  I strictly look for other formats such as the .avi formats; but for somereason, I think if if learned .cue and .bin burning, burning would be a lot faster - Are .bin .cue files faster to burn? and they (.cue and .bin) always connected - as in have to have both in order to burn / view successfully?

What do you use for burning movies?

I use Nero 7 Ultra and it works good for me; although often I wish it was faster.  Some people told me about Alcohol 120% and I got it and used it maybe once, but didn’t quite like it too much… any other programs out there to look at for this?

Exactly!

There was a time I was trying to download one of the Disney cartoon movies – the first THREE tries, I got f#$ing porn instead… wasted time!  (Not that the porn was bad, just not what I wanted at that particular time )

Thx for the link too.

I like the sounds of being able to preview before it completes download… How many times I’ve tried to download .avi files just to find out it was NOT what I wanted.

I started using firefox about a year ago, because it supposedly had better security... especially when browsing the web in shaddy or unknown sites (i.e.: looking for pirated movies/software).

Actually, the main reason why I upgraded to IE 7 was because I had a bad crash (crash came BEFORE I downloaded IE 7)  – Window’s wouldn’t start up, after I had manually shut down my frozen computer with several open windows.  As I re-installed everything, I was looking for Microsoft upgrades and came across IE 7 – so, I just downloaded it.

Thanks for that news!... Me wanna see that Firefox 2 - see what else they came up with!

I also use Firefox - when I know I am going to more unknown sites... if it's regular stuff like yahoo/MSN everyday sites, I just use IE 7.

oooh... well that makes sense.  Then yes, I have used it.  I have been using it for a couple of months now.  Pretty good.  Since I'm not a very technical person, my insight on the matter probably won't help you too much, BUT, I can say that one of the features that annoyed me at first is the one feature that I enjoy the most.   TABS.  Rather than opening multiple brower windows, it all stays in one but you have tabs for each one.  Very convenient.

I could write more but my ignorance on the subject will just shine through.  SO, bottom line, download it.  It's easier to use and faster.
