Ya I agree. Don't waste your money on a lawyer when you can do it yourself. I have taken 4 tickets to court myself and won every case. They either don't show up or negotiate to pay a lower fine.
PLUS: The process is not as complicated as it may appear at first or as some people may think. Once you go to court for trafic tickets once, you will realize that you can keep those 300 bucks in your pocket and go to court yourself... I wouldn't recomend one represents oneself for more SERIOUS offences, though (i.e.: driving under the influence, leaving the scene of the accident, etc) - For those, it may be a better idea to let the more experienced "traffic experts" deal with it.

Definitivamente,, go with Xcoppers or POINTSS. There is a whole "tribu" of people & companies which claim they r cheaper than the above mentioned, but... YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR !!
It has been a few years for me, but go with the pro on this one, one word of advise....if they tell you "it might be a difficult case" get a 2nd, 3rd opinion. Go with the guy/gal that will make u feel confortable. Not the pushy "beer belly" , "i know it all" type.
I've got a speeding ticket on the weekend, I don't want to lose the demerit points, however I have no idea on how to fight/contest this ticket, I've never done it before.
Has anyone gone through this process before?? Should I go to one of those Ex-Cops that will do the legal process for you?
YES GO WITH EX-COPPERS! AND U HAVE TO CALL AND BOOK THE COURT DATE NOW!! ON THE BACK OF UR TICKET IS EVERYTHING
