which thai place is it?

the food court underneath me has a thai place that you have to line up forever for.. it's the best one though, i think there's another one called thai island in the food court with the burger king in it, but that one's not as good. THe one I go to downstairs is called thai express

I think it's called Noodle King or something. I read the menu and didn't read the name of the place properly. It's probably right by where you work 'cause there's a bank right above.
There's also a greek place, McDonald's and Edo.

Ah, Thai food! So delicious!!!
So I went on my little Thai adventure today. First I asked a co-worker what she recommended and she said to try the Lemmongrass Chicken Coconut Ginger Soup (yes, I actually had to write that down) and off I went with my little sticky note with the name of what I wanted written on it.
I found this place down at the Path, where there's like 6 or 7 eateries and they were all empty except for-- yes, you guessed it-- the Thai place. It was good that I had to line up for so long, though, 'cause I read the whole menu while I waited. I'd seen people walk by with these huge pots (picture Daeveed's avatar's head) in their hands, and I was always curious to know what that was.
Well, when you order you have the choice of making it a plate with rice and sauce or a bowl (more like a huge olla) with noodles. Of course I went for the noodles. I had lemmongrass chicken with noodles. It also had bok choi (sp?), some crunchy Fitos and fresh chives.
It was delicious!!! And I don't need to eat until Sunday for thanksgiving, it was so filling.

So I give my newfound adventure 10 crunchy bokchois out of 10.

You know where I've always wanted to go in that area? Baton Rouge. I've seen the ads when I'm on the go train, and I've passed by it a few times. I think I'll ask Julieta what would be good to try there.

I'm trying my Thai soup today. Yesterday I brought my lunch and I wasn't about to go out in the rain. I'm made of sugar, you know?

Buffester its just like going to a kelseys just a bit more pricy and "refined" its nothing special its like Baton Rouge in Florida!! I mean its ur regular steak and fries and chicken fringers and stuff! We went to one for my sisters bachlorette party and well nada special her mom thought it was a french restaruant nada ke ver!!!

I agree with Genie is not all that good, is pricy and is like going to any other canadian place

TRY THIS: Sandwich Box 238 Queen St. West - $7 lunch, grilled sandwiches: highest quality ingredients pick your bread, spead and 3 ingredients.

OMG... this is by far the BEST sandwich place I've eaten at EVER!!!! I had Rye bread, feta, grilled zuchini, chicken, roasted peppers. SOOOOOO good... sooooo worth it.  It's a little hole in the wall type place but the food is soooo good!

So I was driving through Streetsville yesterday and guess what I found?  A HIMALAYAN AND NEPALESE restaurant! HA! Guess I don't have to go to Nepal after all.    For any of you Mississauga ppl, if you want to try it out its at Britannia and Queen Street.  Let me know how it goes and then I'll try it...

So Ms. Boofy, how was the Thai place you went to?

That doesn't count.

And no Colo, I didn't forget it!!!

There's this Irish place up the street from the office I may check out. Not sure what they serve but judging from the golden arches on the logo, it must be fresh and different.

I pity the fool...

Sounds like a great idea. There is this Indian restaurant near my work that always looks good and busy, but I haven't tried.
Might give it a shot tommorow or friday.
