Also it's a good idea to not blink during the interview. Make them think you didn't miss a thing during the interview

ah yes... no blinking allowed... oh and while you're at it.. no breathing either... all the breathing will  only make them think you are selfish and don't care that they need to breathe fresh air.

MJ remember all this and consider yourself hired

Read about whichever company it is that you are applying for.  So, check their website, read about what they do, their company values, products or services they sell or provide.  Every single interview I've been on they've asked me "What do you know about our company?" -you can usually find it in their "About Us" link on their websites... "Why do you want to work for our company?" - for this one, its always better to read about their company values.... tell them that your values are in line with theirs.

Maintain eye contact and relax...

Bellini, your interview sounds like a nightmare to me!!!  A few hours??? I'd faint!!!  Thanks for the advice and to McO and MM as well.

I have an interview coming up and it's with a panel of people, I believe 3.  Has anyone been to those????    I DESPISE PANEL INTERVIEWS!!!!!

Yes! That was one of my only interviews. I like those better, actually. I rocked in that one. Ahem, ahem, hello! I was hired. They immediately fell captives to my charm.  Oh, yeah... I can see why you'd have a problem with that.  Good luck.

Towards the last hour i had to go into the boardroom where i got interviewed by the owner of the firm, the manager and one of the paralegals! They all asked me questions. It was crazy! But of course, it went well after

Just take MM's advice!

This is how I got my job. Answer the questions like you are casually meeting your interviewer at a bar. Like it's chit chat. At one point I got too comfortable and hit the guy's arm; like a 'nudge nudge know what i mean'.

Think of it as a social thing and you will relax a bit, but don't go overboard and start cursing.

Keep posture, always make eye contact, dress appropiately for the interview.

As for questions... well answer them as truthfully as you can. Some questions i may remember are, what do you see your self doing in i.e. 5 years from now? Why did you apply for this position? what are you strength and weeknesses? I can't remember every question. My interview for this current position lasted a few hours. I had to even write a test, which was a surprise to me!

I get really nervous for an interview as well! Just try to be calm and do your best!
