I did my high school back home ,. and I was the best student and blah, blah ,blah,. I think that one of my phobias was public speaking eventhough I didn't suck ,. but it was the whole seeing of putting my face out there,.I would be the person behind,. doing all the work,. etc,. and someone else,. saying or presented it for me,. even once or twice in a poem contest another person told my poem in front of the school,. eventhough I was the author,... I think I would be a really bad "celebrety" ,.. here in college,. I am the quite person in the classroom,. talk with some ppl,. but not making friends,..still good student,. and that s all for now,.

Biggest one was doing presentations I could talk infront of a crowd without any worries but when getting serious I'd blush and f@ck up on my presentation.    And probably playing tackle football I hated it teacher would leave for us to kill eachother on the field.  I've never really been the BIG guy since I was scrony (dictionary.com didnt help) and skinny.

Gymnastics in gym class... I HATED IT sooo much!!! Hmmm, now that I think about it, I hated gym class PERIOD. Once I even pretended to be sick so I wouldn't have to do the gymnastics.

Sucks to be a fat kid.

Plus I had to sit in a corner and eat my tuna-egg-peanutbutter sandwiches in the corner of the room .

Ewwwww!! What the hell? Who eats tuna, egg and peanut butter in the same sandwich? OMG! I married that weird, awkward fat kid who sucked at gym and ate disgusting concoctions!

I was awesome in gym - awesome I tells ya. I'm the one who chose the other kids for the teams or I'd be chosen first. I'm the one who cried "Easy out!" but never had "Easy out!" yelled at... oh, wait! Someone did once. I can't stress once enough. Did I ever show that kid.

I would get hot, and antsy up there.

I might be a sick puppy (well, senior citizen puppy) but I loooooved public presentations. I'd be the geek raising my hand going "me, me, me!" But this was back home. When I came to Canada, because I spoke no English, or very little, I panicked every time I had to talk in high school. By my university/college years, I went back to being the geek of my old days.

Thread inspired by my I'd-rather-be-in-hell-than-in-French-class Class

Anyway...

So, this teacher has us go to the board to conjugate verbs. Grade-school nightmare flashbacks!  I have been practicing at home, conjugating verbs like crazy so that when it would be my turn I'd be ready. Well, the moment of truth was yesterday and... I failed miserably!!! on some stupid verb that I had already practiced at home too! Ugh!Talk about mental block.

My other phobias were Spelling Bees and verbal presentations. During Spelling Bees I was always out in round one. My fear of presentations makes absolutely no sense to me since as I teacher I never choked. Ugh!  I can't function under pressure.
