I found a few of the things that you mentioned interesting. Touching your belly if you want to return to your body...well I found that interesting, because I remember that someone told me that the way demons poses your body is by going through your stomach first. Also, if one demon leaves your body, but then returns, it returns with 9 more demons. Freaky if you ask me.

I heard something similar to the last thing you mentioned, but what I heard is that if you let and entity take you away, you will die in your sleep.

Don Chelo - That is a good story and I think Dogo is correct about this being an instance of Astral Projection.

I think we know just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Astral Projection. As tempting and wonderful as it sounds, I think there is a risk of significant danger and evil when it comes to astral projection. Along with Ouija boards, it is not to be taken lightly.

ok, here goes my Supernatural Experience. It was about 10:30 pm. and I was getting ready for bed. Anway I have a queen bed but I always sleep in the left side of the bed. The other side is always empty. I was in my side of the bed, with all the lights out, just in the dark trying to sleep, when I feel like someone sits in the other side of the bed, no one opened the door and I felt like the bed moved like some one just sit down in one corner and then laid beside me. I was facing the wall and try to turn to the right to see who was laying there with me. I was frozen, and could not do it, I was paralized. Anyway after like 4 minutes, I felt like this person got up and I turned, nothing was there.

I ran to my sisters bedroom and stayed there for the night, I was really affraid. My mom saids it was probably her grandma, I was freaking out.

Very true experience.

TT - good point on the Coast to Coast show. It is a very good program in that they will talk about anything. Sometimes that works against the show as they occasionally allot too much time for guests who are too far gone from reality.

you know what had i been the only one in the house to feel it i would say yes you have a point it sounds NORMAL however nobody had ever expereienced it untill my brother moved in to the same room i was in he told me about it and it just freaked me out now i have slept in every room in that house and I have lived in other apts but it has only every happend and not just once but many times in that same room to two different ppl?? I dont know about you but thats kinda freaky no??

And yeah like Sweetness i too did pray alot while i was feeling that. But for me and my brother it was weired cuz we didnt feel pressure or anything it felt more like someone was holding my arms and my legs two seperate sets of hands!

The curious thing is why do people who experience this paralysis seem to feel and see the same things (ie. seeing someone in the room, pressure on the chest, etc.)? If they are indeed hallucinations, why are the hallucinations so similar? Is it the mind that is envisioning the worst case scenario in a state of sleep paralysis? Strange stuff.

Like Genie, I too have felt that something was holding me down. I couldn't move at all. I could hardly keep my eyes open as well. All I remember is that I was lying in bed and I saw my bedroom door open, and heard my brother say my name, but I did not see my brother. I tried to answer him, but I couldn't speak for some odd reason. So what I did was start to pray in my head, and when I did I saw a dark shadow pass right in front of me and out my bedroom door. Even though this shadow was gone...I still could not move or talk, so I kept on praying. While I was praying another shadow went past me and out the door, and still I could not move or talk, so I continued to pray. Finally the third and last shadow left my room, and I immediately was able to move and talk. Very freaky, but I knew what to do, because I am Christian and was told that these are spiritual attacks. So basically something is trying to poses you or frighten you but you need to fight back by praying. If you're Christian you should understand.

I truly dont think its an anxiety attack for one reason i have had those a few times and when i get them i feel that i cant breath! But the holding i have felt or did feel was someone holding my arms not hugging me or nada just my arms and i could feel hands fingers jabbing me so mine was not an anxiety attack!

LOL yeah i was once told que el dia that i was born i had la Virgen de Altagracia with me and that to this day she protects me in everyway!

Now that i have a doggie it freaks me out cuz sometimes he will bark at the wall and they say animals have a sense of the supernatural.

I have expereinced it in my mothers apt i have seen ghost twice and when i was awake and trying to roll over in bed i felt someone holding me and not letting me move i was wide awake and then when my brother moved into that room he had the same experiences! Freaky!

I was also visited by my grandfather the day after he died he came to say goodbye and I was up reading a book for school when he just appeared and told me to take care of my momy y tia! Then he said otherstuff which was great!

I also played with an ouija board with my mom tia and there friends! the next day we had to get the house blessed cuz the spirit didnt leave!

This has happened to me a few times, some would explain it as "anxiety attacks". That you feel heaviness on your chest and stuff but I dont buy that. When my daugther was only a few weeks old, I remember sitting in my rocking chair in the wee hours of the morning, half asleep myself, I saw a silhouette of my dead grandfather (he was even wearing a fedora hat that he always wore when he was alive). He was kind of bending over as if trying to get a peek of the baby.

I got up right away and went to hide under the covers.

2 months ago my wife and I could swear that we saw a ghost in our house.
We were both watching TV in the dark. The only light was coming from the TV. We were sitting side by side and all of a sudden something caught our attention. We both looked to the left and down the hall we both saw a lady in white just walk by. It was creepy. The room felt cold and we both saw it and had the same description of what we saw.
First thing we did the next day was have a priest come and bless the house.
Haven't had any incidents since.
