Holy Fking Crap! I don't know what I would do. I just found out that my entire history book is summarized in sound files ready to be downloaded onto your IPOD or mp3 player so I can listen to it rather than read it when I'm on the go. That's so fking awesome!

Anyhoo... to answer your question Jaime, before the internet, people actually did work, people actually picked up the phone to talk to other people, and libraries were the place to go for research.... oh and most importantly, "Chat Rooms or Forums" were actually held in group settings, face to face.
We need to contact JC's office to tell them that their plan is stupid. Or we'll hold a fundraiser to get JC his own computer with internet access, 'cause without him and his odd threads, this Boro would definitely die.
As for the question, I wish I'd had internet when I was working for an agency at IBM. The days were looooooooooooong and the only thing I had to read was the Grand & Toy catalogue. Needless to say I only lasted a few months there.

I realized im too dependent on the net I cant go a full day with out checking one of my 3 e-mail acounts, logging on to el foro, banking online, or just browsing for news. We got a memo today saying they may cut off our internet use at work They are trying to change operating systems which will only allow company site and partnership sites We will apparantly have just 1 computer that has full internet access in the middle of the office for additional resources. Hope this plan doesn't go in effect cause my working days will be LONG
