Will appreciate any cooking tips...even the fake/sarcastic ones

STEAK =  THE EASIEST: ... oil, salt and pepper A GUSTO PERSONAL... then pre-heat a pan, 2 minutes on one side, 1 minute on the other side... READY!!!   Unless you like your steak well done and love the taste of cardboard - in that case, stick it in a preheated oven (350-400 celcuus) for another 5-10 minutes depending how well done you like!

Cheers!

Quick question guys. How do you know what amount of salt to add to chicken?
Like for if I have like 4 pieces of chicken do I add 1 tablespoon, teaspoon or more of salt.
I tried my luck making chicken for myself yesterday and I didn't put enough and it was gross. I had 4 pieces(2 drumsticks and breasts) and added 1 teaspoon. What's the correct amount?

For one Orale hates salt he wont cook with salt!!! but i do it this way take ur shaker and had two shakes to every piece that u have! i have yet to over salt my food!!!

That's sound easy. I'll give it a shot.

Best seasonings I find for chicken are lemon, lemon pepper, and garlic salt.  For beef onion and garlic salt.  Whether you are frying, baking, grilling, etc., these give really good flavour.  Oh, and I cant forget Azafran and Achiote.  Those give flavor and colour.

Those are seasonings that are a must have!!

@ Jaime - I really don't cook by measuring with tablespoon etc.. I just usually go by what i think is enough! If you are boiling the chicken....after you add the salt, try tasting the water and see if it's salty or if you don't taste the salt, try adding some more!

Buy some chicken legs, season it with salt and pepper then add mayo and BBQ sauce. Once you've done that, put it in the oven. That's quick and tastes good.

Also, you can buy chicken breats and bread it. Put it in a baking pan and pour some tomato sauce and put mozzarella cheese on top of it. Once that's done, put it in the oven

sprinkle on some rosemary, oregano, basil, garlic (powder form)

I looooove cooking... didn't get into it until I got married, but now I just love it.

For quick and easy recipes, I used to buy soups (anything, you know those campbell soups and chowders?). You just so-fry beef or chicken or whatever with salt/pepper/vegetables like green peppers, onions, garlic) and then let it simmer in any of these soups for a bit until the meat is tender and voila! As time went by, I started experimenting with adding vegetables and things, but that's how I started.

Hope that helps.

Ya I love soups with beef. I used to add hamburger to the chinese beef soups
Sound gross, but it tastes really good.

soya sauce

u spread soya sauce in chicken before baking it and in meat before bbq....

and the following is just for carne de cerdo (if u experiment in vaca meat let me know how it taste lol...)

ingredients:

jugo de 2 black or red oranges

jugo de 3 limones

la cascara de los limones y de las naranjas rallada

olive oil to taste

condiments (ginger, oregano, comin, basil, and everything nice)

un atado de cilandro (o perejil, i like cilandro)

ground mustard (solo una pisca)

sal to taste

instrusciones:

moler todo junto ecepto la sal, para formar una salsa si es muy espesa poner un pokito de agua fria... una vez todo molido agragar la sal a gusto.

poner la carne de cerdo enun container y bañarlo en la salsa , it is better if u let it marinate during the nite.... it is yummy! lol.... and then u can do it bbq  or whatever

KRAFT KITCHENS web site has good one that are easy and quick. You can also go to the book store and get cookbooks that are specifically for 20 min meals.

here is one of the top of my head...

fry chicken in a little bit of butter at low temperature.. then.. add tostitos (or generic) nacho dip (salsa) alot of it and a bit of water so that it will cook the chiken.  and now you know my secret.

Do you like lime and or mustard?

add that to chiken with onion and put it in th oven.  it comes out good.  don't kill it with the lime though.. 1 with every 3/4 legs

enjoy

Para mi no hay nada mas sencillo que preparar pollo al Horno.
Ingredientes:
-1 pollo
-2 cebollas
-Especias varias (yo uso oregano, comino y pimienta).
-Aceite
-Un horno.

Preparacion

buen apetito

Ok, seriously, it's simple and sounds but this is the easiest marinade and tastes pretty good:
Itallian dressing.

You can also buy sauces in jars at the store like butter chicken or korma which taste really good and you just add a minor ingredient like cream or water in the pot and you're done.

Thanks man
I'll try that tonight because I do have Italian dressing at home right now.
