Unfortunately, it's sad to say that these things still happen in our countries. Many more die for freedom of speech and thought. Hope to see a day where one can return to their countries without such fears. It's better to have fought and lost than never to have fought at all. I truly in awe of people who stand up for what they believe all the while knowing the possible consequences.
Este dia se conmemora a todos los miles de desaparecidos en Latinoamerica, de paises como Argentina, Brasil, EL Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay y Paraguay.
Fueron miles de personas que por sus ideas fueron secuestradas para nunca ver el sol del dia otra ves; muchas veces personas que no tenian nada que ver tambien fueron desaparecidas, por lo general eran jovenes. Jovenes que solo querian estudiar y buscar un mundo mejor. Para todos ellos un saludo fraterno desde Canada.

Most of you are too young to have lived these experiences. SOme of you think it didn't happen in our beautiful latin american countries, but it was all too real. Wicked world eh!
