In regards to the amount of pain... it hurts more if you get it on bone. But other than that it kills for the first little while, but then your body gets used to it and you kinda even get a bit of a high from it.

What design are you thinking of getting? Make sure it means something personal to you girl... cuz you'll have it for the rest of your life.

I want to get it on my lower back. Reason being is that this is the place where the design would look best. I wanted it on the right side of my lower back, but the suggestions I have gotten say it would look better in the lower back, right in the middle. When I get it you will be one of the first ones to see it. But trust me it is very personal, I did a lot of research on the perfect design, even had it modified to suit "me", and the writing on it is personal too

didnt hurt much getting it, but it itched after, i guess because it was my neck.. be sure to clean it and follow ur artists instruuctions on how to take care of it.. applying after care to keep the colors vivid or they'll turn green. im holding off gettin my next artwork because of court, but after that, im gonna get the Mayan Calendar on my back if not full sleeves on both arms... thats gonna hurt like a mothafuka!! 7 hours of pain! cant hardly wait.

I don't think its the tattoo that can make a girl look "ghetto", its the way she carries herself, and how she shows it off that can make her look "ghetto".

I love MJ's tattoo, and I look forward to seeing her next one too, I'm going to go with her to get my next one done too, and to put the finishing touches in the one I already have.

Well, technically I didnt go thru child birth cause I had C-sections, but with my first one I did go thru like 18 hours of labour pains before I was told I needed to C-section, so is this the kind of pain ur talking about? And from the looks of it, it`s gonna be like im in labour. I already have 3 people coming with me to "coach" me and for moral support, and from what I know, a few more will be there "taking in the sights". LOL

Depending on where she places the tattoo and what the design is, it has potential to turn some heads.

It's not an OW pain it's more like an irritating pain. It's like scraping your nail over one spot over and over and over again. The outline hurt like that but the shading in was much better. I found what helped me was taking deep breaths like in yoga!!!

Don't you have kids??? My God woman, a tattoo is CHUMP CHANGE compared to a tattoo!!!! Go for it!! This is my tattoo on my hip!!!

And the next one will be this on my lower back!!!!!

I think it depend of the design, where it is tattooed on the body and how good is the work.

I know a pretty nice girl, that have a word tattooed on her upper chest and when she wears a clivage you can see it. The letters are nice but the word is "smiley", so QEF ! I won't say gettho on this one (I've seen worst things) but I won't consider it a nice tattoo either.
