The Niagara region, by far, has the best beaches. Everyone drives up North, when really you could be headed South to a much cleaner beach, with alot better sand (not that coarse ****). The best, but not the cheapest, has been my summer spot for my whole life, SHERKSTON. If you haven't been there, believe me you don't know what you're missing! Check out www.sherkston.com. If anyone needs accomodations there, my parents own 2 places, and one's a rental (cheaper than the park rates). For the more economical trip, there are a few beaches surrounding Sherkston, that are free to get in and are basically the same beach. Check out Crystal Beach and Pleasant Beach. But, if it's a party you're looking for, look no further than Port Dalhousie in St. Catherines. Lakeside Beach is pretty nice, and the bar scene is just phenomenal there! One of my favourite clubs is located there, MY COTTAGE (mycottage.ca). Guys, this is like a "Girls Gone Wild" party, every Saturday. You could never picture a club of this size (holds about 2,000 ppl.) in an area like this. If a little bit of sun and some night time fun is your thing, this is definitely the spot to party on the weekend.

HMMMMMMMM me like it....

none, the water is nastyyyy

I'm not talking about Toronto beaches, I'm talking about Ontario beaches, there's a lot of nice ones, clear water, white sand, etc Lake Huron has some of the best beaches I've been to, like Sauble beach and Grand Bend, check out some pix and you'll see. And for those of you who say that the only real beaches are the salty water ones I agree! But I've already taken all my vacations lol and can now only afford to go away for the weekend

Ontario has no beaches.....

they r transported sand (very few cases fine gravel) that complete the look of a beach wanna be!

But anyways... no complain here if we have to take vacation somewhere won't we???

So i say port Elguin cuz it is quiet during the day it is nice and at nite there is party!

The park is called Cedar Beach Park and the lake Musselman. Really, really nice place. The drive is awesome 'cause it's so close. Jackson's point is not bad either.

Noooooo way, Musselman is disgusting ewwwwwww Now I missing my old Hood

You're kidding, right? Musselman is really, really nice. Now you try and go to the Beach in Oshawa... then come back and tell me tales.

soo funny because Last weekend I was taking pictures right beside the Nuclear Plant...the funny part is that there are like 15 little BEAUTIFUL ponds, I bet if you jum in them you'll come out with a 3rd eye

Two of the nicest ones I've been to are Sauble Beach and Grand Bend (both about three hours away), are there any other nice ones you guys would suggest checking out b4 summer is gone?!

I've been to a few this summer and I looooved Killbear (too far from T.O., though, in the Parry Sound area). Balsam lake is really, really nice, not too far from T.O. and so is Mara, like Genie said. There's a very nice private lake not too far from Markham. The park is called Cedar Beach Park and the lake Musselman. Really, really nice place. The drive is awesome 'cause it's so close. Jackson's point is not bad either.
