I have to say my child/teen friends they are the only ones i can really say they are my friends, I have made lots of friends as an adult but nothing like my child/teen friends.

I had great friends in elementary school... and I lost them in elementary school.
I had awesome friends in high school... and I lost them in high school.
I had so-so friends through my university/college years... And I lost them at "hello".
I had some nice acquaintances in my adult life. We still haven't gotten to "hello".

I guess I'm not a people person.

I would definately have to say those that I have aquired in my adult life.  My friends from highschool were fun to hang out with at the time, but once we left school that was it for me.  A few of them still talk to each other, but for me, it been the friends that I have made throughout college, and later years that have stuck around.

Friends that you made while you were growing up as a child/teen, or friends that you have acquired in your adult life?

On a larger scale I would say friends that I have made as an adult.
I had quite a few friends as a kid/teen, but now only speak to about 5 and can only rely on about 2 of them.
As an adult I've made many more friends that I know I can rely on. I would say about 5-6.

I have about three girl friends from my childhood/teen years that i am friends with dearly and trust them with just about everything! One i have actually been friends with since grade 1! and eventhough we have drifted apart we always find time to talk and catch up! Also the other two well one is on foro and even though time and life has changed with just a quick hello and a breif catchup moment we jelly all over again! and the other is on an island but she will be back soon! and i miss her very much!

In my young adult life i have made many friends or aquaintences and many i hold very dear some i trust fully some i have reservations on! But a few i can go to with just about anyting and get the answers i need or support i need! and i know they will always be around even if i take them and there time for granted i guess thats just friendship right!

The people that have been with me through thick and thin would be my girls from Scarghetto!  I've been friends with them since Kindergarten and wouldn't exchange them for the world.  As an adult I have found it more difficult to trust in people.

YES, THAT MEANS YOU CHALE MONKEY FACE!

I'VE EXPERIENCED MY SHARE OF FRIENDS...GOOD AND BAD... HOWEVER, MY TRUE FRIENDS ARE THE ONES THAT IF I DON'T TALK TO FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS DUE TO BEING BUSY AND WHAT NOT WILL ALWAYS BE THERE...WE PICK UP THE PHONE LIKE NOTHING...

UNDERSTANDING IS VERY POWERFUL IN A FRIENDSHIP...EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN WAY OF THINKING...AND ALSO HAVE THINGS HAPPEN WITHOUT THEIR CONTROL...FRIENDS TO ME MEAN ALOT...THEY EASE MY MIND WHEN GOING GETS TOUGH AND ALSO SHOW ME THAT LIFE HAS MAJOR OBSTICLES...

FRIENDS IN MY YOUNGER YEARS AND FRIENDS IN MY ADULT YEARS ARE ALL DEARLY CLOSE TO ME...THEY ALL CAME IN MY LIFE FOR A REASON...

Mmm...friends being loyal I dunno.   I'd choose (c):  Family being loyal (thanks for the option) .  I really don't ask friends for opinions or tend to deal with them.  No hay amigos, solo familia

I cant really base it on how long I`ve known them, because as you say, some friends that I have had since high school me han hecho la cagada here and there, where as some friends that I`ve known for lets say, a year or two, have turned out to be very helpful in ways that I would have never imagined.

My experience is totally diffrent my two closet, bestest girl friends in the world are from when I was in High school. I can count with them anytime & for anything.

Now I also made a great new friend as an adult, which is also as good as my two other friends.

Anyone else I've met are great ppl. & nice friends but nothin to touchy with me. Althou I still enjoy their freindship & company.

Like you I would say friends that I've adquired in my adult life.

I only kept communication with 2 of the one I've made in my youth/teen years but I guess it is also due to the fact that I moved to different countries so it's hard to keep in touch when you are that far away.
