* I learned that I'm becoming more of a camping dork that I ever thought I would.
* I learned that I love nature more than I ever thought I would.

* I learned that I need to buy a good map, an updated map. A big font map.
* I learned that I'm more of a "people watcher" than a "mingler".

All in all, it was an excellent, excellent weekend. So much was accomplished and learned.

Top things I learned this past long wknd:

If you need to rent a car - specially a VAN - on summer a long weekend, Make reservations ahead of time or else you'll be in trouble.

Poker - or any gambling game for that matter- @ CNE can be played about EIGHTEEN - yes 18- hours per day (noon to 6 am - they only close for six hours!)

Shouldn't stay gambling till 6 am if you need to rent a car and drive out of town only a couple of hours later - SLEEP/REST apparently is more important for a driver!

Driving @ 140-160 kmh can get you from point A to point B much much MUCH faster - just Good luck not getting a ticket!

P.S.: Would pay to see Princessa dancing a Sanjuanito with her pañuelo gong arond X

I learned that it feels good to dance with canadian natives, I really enjoyed the experience, my native side felt the conection with them, I'm much closer to Canada than I ever thought.

I also learned that I need heavy duty earplugs when sharing the camping tent with parents, I had to sleep inside the car (with the meat smell) since it was impossible to sleep with them.

And next time I should carry my binoculars cause I saw a strange thing up in the sky.
