I work in an open space also. I pretty much work alone, unless the Big Boss decides to come in to work, that will be a day I will not be posting on TH.
To make my space more homey, I have a small stereo, a few pictures, and a small peluche I was given by a friend
I have drawings that were done by my princesses. I have my green tea at one side of my computer, which people ocassionally tief I have a tiara that was given to me here at work one day that I was chosen princess of the day. My clock radio of course, screensaver is a collection of different pics (my kids, family, friends, etc.) In one of the drawers I have a little prayer that I read a few times a day, just to motivate me. I guess that`s it

I have too many friggin' comforts that all I need now is a bed... I've actually been requesting a hammock and a bar for the past few years and my boss always says "they're coming... they're coming..." But the more comforts we get, the less work we do, so go figure.
LOL thats funny to me cuz my office is infront of the mattress center here at work! and i basically take naps on the Tempur Pedic omg that bed is amazing!!!

I HAV MY OWN OFFICE BUT 2 OF THE FOUR WALLS ARE GLASS, SO MY STAFF CAN SEE INSIDE. I HAVE BLINDS BUT I DONT LIKE CLOSING THEM. NEED TO SEE WTS HAPPENING WITH MY STAFF. MY DESKTOP FOR MY REPORTS AND MY LAPTOP FOR MY AMMUSEMENT. I HAVEN'T PERSONALIZED IT CAUSE THEY ARE TRANSFERING ME SOMEWHERE ELSE SOON. I HATE THEM!!!
I have an awesome spot. Nobody can see what I'm up to. I could definitely listen to music but I've gotten used to working without it, it bugs me when it's playing. I'm pretty comfy, I guess. I have breakfast here everyday for free! I love free stuff.
i have an decent spot, much more privacy, but a lot smaller. ah well. To make it cozy i have my pc and mac on either side of my desk and facing inside towards the middle of my desk. In between them i have my file sorter and radio and speakers (with headphones) attached to my itunes music library.Then a cat figurine and two vases with flowers. One lilies and one roses.
On my pc side i have my hand lotion, sanitizer and water bottle. Then my cd markers and highliters.
Behind me i have my little file cabinet, in which i put my plastic cutlery or other snacks.
To my right i have another mini shelf, with all the music cds i have, my phone and other misc. things.
On my walls i have tons of pictures, a cork board and a stirofoam t-rex...
hey, if it's going to be my home AWAY from home, might as well go full out.
Your work space sounds good. What I also like about where I sit is that I have a 7 Eleven beside me. Yup I have a China who sits next to me and has a file cabinet full of snacks. Popcorn, chips, cookies, coffee, tea, pop and she even has a mini over for pizza and bagels
At office I as well have a great spot. It's very secure no one walks by and its extremely quiet. I only use one laptop however its connected to my 19" monitor and I place all my work there meanwhile I listen to tunes on Winamp and just cruise listening to live streams all day and talking on Msn or foro when I get the chance and am avail.
Am thinking of getting a mini tv or a fridge not sure which of the two

i get my new office next week and im excited i have a picture of my girls confu yani jacks and pookie with my baby bro at his bday and i have a pic of me and orale and a radio to listent to music! that makes my current space homey! and i have a big flat screen monitor so its coolio!
well i have 3 computers one is a Windows machine with all my mp3's, msn, and some games. my other machine is a MAC that i use to do my work on, and my last machine is a laptop, that I use to do also my work and testing of programs and surf the net. My desk is also in a place where no1 can see what I'm doing.
Since we spend a big percentage of our life at work, what do you to make it your own space?
I have the best spot in the office because nobody can really see what I do. What I usually have in the office to make time fly when it's dead is my PSP, Cell phone with a headset that plays MP3's(best idea for a cell phone). That's all I really need aside from the net to use Foro and browse.
