Danny you need to grow up stop acting like you some hard core street thug. Enough of this sh t! Why you keep running your mouth when you don't know sh t about your country nor Salsa. That next person who wrote you wanting to be a black brotha or better off Boriqua is true. You only love Reggaeton because it makes you feel like a black brotha/Puerto Rican but remember you from Ecuador so stop front'in. All you do is talk about gangsta reggaeton and how you love that kind of music. I myself like Reggaeton but I ain't only into Tego Calderon as I mentioned in the past I also love my Salsa! This is the problem that I find with a lot of people on the foro when they quote and reply. They do not fully read and understand what was posted, Y2J you are a perfect example of this. Let me break it down for you. Danny was already in Ecuador when I went for my visit there in 1996. He came back in 2000. What part did you not comprehend? As for Puerto Rican reggae aka reggaeton such as Playero that was not heard of there. The only sound close to that was of course El General. I was told by cuzin Danny and others that I met there that Guayaquil had a stronger movement of hiphop then Quito did. Let me sum things up here, who the f*ck cares who Rey Ruiz is. If a person does not know who he is does it make them lesser of a human being or in this case an Ecuatoriano. Sh*t I didn’t even know who this artist was, but now I know the name and I may pop by his site and check out what he has to offer. To Danny, why bother with these people bros. If you know what the truth is and you lived through it then screw what the rest say. Why bother convincing? It’s a waste of time and the use of a keyboard. I like Rock for once, and hip-hop too, also Jazz, classical music, and a lot of dub/electronica.

I don't like salsa, reggaeton, cumbia, bachata, merengue, etc. I don't know who Rey Ruiz is, nor do I know a lot of the other ones mentioned here.

What i do really like though, is the way nosotros hablamos, especialmente cuando hablamos bien. Nuestro lenguaje es increiblemente rico y complejo, y todos deberiamos conocerlo apropiadamente.

Tambien me gusta la forma en que nos saludamos, nos reimos con los demas, bromeamos, y compartimos cosas que otras culturas no comparten...me gusta como hacemos juntas en las casas solo con amigos mas que en los clubs....me gusta como a veces jugamos futbol en la calle.
