Songwriter Glenn Marais and producer Pete Swann wrote and recorded “Like a Child” in January of 2005. Since then the song has evolved into a global mission to fight AIDS in Africa. The song was inspired by Glenn’s 7-year old neighbor, Paige Pedlar (from Whitby, ON), who wrote an illustrated book, “Who Will Cuddle Them When They Sleep?” to raise money for orphans living in Africa with AIDS and HIV. All the proceeds from the song, Like a Child, are going to the Paige Pedlar Foundation.

In September 2005 “Like a Child” was released to radio and is currently in rotation on 20 stations across Canada. Recently Glenn has appeared on City TV news, CFTO news and SUN TV with a video premier on Much More Music’s “Clip Trip” slated for January 2006.
