I'm very environment-conscious. I do things like asking for as little plastic bags as possible at the grocery store (actually i just got this Eco-bag at Dominion for $1 so no more plastic bags!! whoohoo!!), buying energy efficient everything (from lightbulbs to appliances), keep wraps and little pieced of garbage with me until i find a garbage bin (instead of littering), printing only when it's absolutely necessary at work, keeping paperless bank records..etc. I don't really tell people to do it..it's hard to convince them that way, but at least, i try to lead with the example.-- Edited by Daeveed at 12:44, 2006-07-06 -- Edited by Daeveed at 12:45, 2006-07-06
Me too, very. I basically do everything that you do. I even pick other's trash at the park/foresty area by our house. I do in consideration for the animals that live there. At work I avoid wasting as much paper as I can but unlike you, I do tell people and yeah, people don't like to be told what to do.

sure, it's not hard, but it is hard when not everyone has that green bin. It hasn't arrived to my area yet.
