Heard about and it looks interesting. Scary to think how severe global warming is and how it is being neglected.

I just got this email, and thought i share it with u guys.

I recently saw Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth." I rarely send out mass emails but after seeing this movie, I felt it would be grossly irresponsible on my part if I did not.

Please go see this film - it is the most important documentary you will watch in your lifetime. Soak up every bit of information that you can from it, see how it applies to your own behaviour as a consumer, see what you can change in your own life and then push those around you to do the same. It is imperative we talk to politicians, community leaders, business leaders, and religious leaders. If we do not take the time to do this, we will see great calamity IN OUR lifetimes, not in distant future generations. The natural disasters we have seen so far are the early warning signs and only the beginning if there is not any fundamental change in our wanton consumption of natural resources and destruction of land. Saying no to the SUVs is only the start. We in North America are responsible for over 30% of greenhouse gas emissions though we represent under 5% of the world's population ( i.e. we have the most impact of any population on planetary survival). The size and types of homes we buy (URBAN SPRAWL!!!), the quantity of clothes we purchase, the number of cars we have, and the types of communities we choose to build will have profound consequences on OUR world in OUR lifetime, let alone our children and grandchildren.

Here is a little bit more about the movie HERE and HERE

Has anyone seen it?, or plan to see it?
