orrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! u also got new jersey..cities like union city ..newark ..jersey city..etc.. also have alot of colombian people..and they also do the independence day parties there..but im not sure how they are..


miami has enough colombians as well..and from what friends told me..the independence day parties there r awsome..and free!!! in some park i forget the name..alot of artists come down too

Mowtown!!!!!! if you wanna check out the colombian areas in NYC...got straight to queens...areas such as woodside, jackson heights, corona, elmhurst and flushing ...are known to have little colombian enclaves...especially along roosvelt avenue..the whole strip is full of colombian restaurants...pubs..bars etc.. flushing park has the annual colombian independence day festivals every year..its much much better then the ones here...and when im talking about packed it getsss rammmm packed!!!!!!!

@MJ - if you still reaching or have already gone....I agree with Crazy.  I go up to Miami seguido and definitely is the best place.  Todo Miami es lindo siempre y cuando no estes en the bronx de Miami.     Check it out, las playas, la gente...la comida, todo todo te lo dice.  Enjoy ya self.

Are there more Colombians in NYC than in Florida?


And if you wanna party with Colombians.....why not go to Col.........nahh I'm kidding.....is just that if that's the reason you're going on this little trip then re-think your location......


Both places are good depending on what you want.....some people wanna relax, others site see, others just getaway and not do anything.....


NYC - more busy, lots of people, no beach....great shopping and clubs


South Beach - better weather, relaxing on the beach and night life and you can't just pick up and drive there on weekend like you would with NYC


 


Also.....you could google some crazy events happening in both cities during the time of your stay......like concerts, or some celebrity event, a sports game....etc


The bottom line here is..........that you bring us all a souvenir

ive been 2 south beach 3 times and its very nice...theres clubs on the strip and lots 2 do...i luv miami,..if i could pik anywhere n the world to live it would definately b miami..its jus so different there..the ppl...and atmosphere and everything...and almost everyone speaks spanish..so thats nice 2

I would literally have my dad dragg me into the beach, get wet & then get him to carry me out, so that I don't get sand on my feet, he knew that if I did I would start crying. I would go from the beach, straight to the shower to clean off any dirty on me.


Now with the X, we go to the lake or up-north & he would carry me into the lake, during the time we are in the water & then for sure on my way out. poor guy, but that's the only way I can do it. I DO NOT like it.

Even thou I'm Guayaquilena & this part of Ecuador is very Tropical & known for Beaches.....I'm by FAR an anti-beach girl. I don't hate it, but oh lord it BORES THE LIVING CRAP Out of me. I can't staned being in the beach all day, just tanning or even worst I hate going into the actual beach.


I hate being dirty with sand, hot, sweaty, etc. not my cup of tea.

F@CK!!  I'm confused now. 


Here's the deal.  I have an open ticket and the airline I bought the ticket with algamated with US Airways which seems crappy!!!  Latest flight outta Miami is at 6:30pm!!!  Ugh!!!


Should I just go to NYC???
