sweetie Valencia won the peoples choice poll (where he was in first place) but FIFA has 14 members that have been following the players since the start of the WC. Poldoski is a good player and from Germany and had 3 goals in the WC.

He did a good jog as a young player and deserved to win.

yeah poldoski won.......he is a good player.

@JR Valencia won the peoples choice poll but fifa (14 members) have the last say as who wins.

It isn't only about who is most voted... there is also a FIFA technical commitee that determines who should get it.

I don't think Podolski was a bad choice. His team will end up being 3rd or 4th, and he's played reasonably well.

All my respects to the ecuadorians, but I don't see how Valencia could have gotten it, when his team was knocked out in the round of 16...

Well, I also see Mexicans on the list so... hmmm. But solidarity issues aside, I think the Argentinian Messi is more deserving of the "latin"vote (I forget how this overrides solidarity . ) Trying to be as objective as possible... I think I'll just vote for C. Ronaldo.
