This is not true at all. Cepeda is a well-known singer in many regions of Colombia, and he became famous with poligamia (a rock band from Bogota, city located in the middle of Colombia). He used to play rock, but in his "noches de bohemia" discovered his amazing talent to sing boleros, son, and pop.
You don't know these two were married? It was the biggest wedding that mexican pesos could afford! That's what happens when you're more interested in dead poets who were forgiven by the church 500 years later. Pfft!
Banquete: 247 mil pesos. Refrescos, jugos y hielos: 16 mil 100 pesos. Total: 383 mil pesos.
Actually, it was kind of a cheap wedding in terms of cost, only 383 MXP x pax.

What? They were married? I could care less about Mexican celebrities, Buffster. Actually, any celebrity - regardless of their nationality. ETA: and I haaaaaaaaate Lucerito. Well, hate's a pretty strong word. -- Edited by Lahtina at 10:34, 2006-06-29

Güiro, that's it. I love this instrument, especially on this song. Cepeda's colombian. Hernaldo Zúñiga's pretty good too. I have his CD as well. He also used to write songs for Pandora and some other well-known mexican singers (can't remember all of the names right now) Como te va mi amor was his. He's pretty good. I met his brother, Armando, who looks exactly like him, in a demonstration back home when I was in high school. Cute guy, but very married. I was really impressed, though, 'cause it was the first semi-celebrity I ever met.
Oh yeah, his songs are really nice. I believe he wrote some songs for Emanuel and Mijares too. I hate Mijares, btw. Emanuel I don't mind.

I've loved this song for a loooong time (well, actually, not that long, but I really like it) and I didn't know it was Andres Cepeda. That's what happens when hubby dowloads music and doesn't know who/where it's from. Anyway, this guy's coming to the Colombian thingy in July.
I specially love the scratchy instrument (whatever it's called) on this particular song. Good, good music. I think I must've been Colombian in a past life.
