ONe thing to keep in mind....

Montreal at this time of year.....has MANY, MANY, MANY festivals.

Book your rooms in advanced if you don't have friends or hook ups down there.

I went last year with a few friends.....and we were stranded. NO ROOMS ANYWHERE!

The hotels were taking advantage of people....they offered us ONE ROOM with ONE COUCH for 6 of us.....for about $250 for the night!!!!

We ended up in a crap motel far, far away from the city.

Just my experience.

i don't know salsa on st. clair should be good just like last year so im probably just going to be at st. clair that w/e
