i see some latin nights are opening up in the club district, which is good cause that's where the majority of the crowd is.. i try to go to the club district as little as possible.. seems like there's fights everywhere and just a lot of unruly people.. and i'm starting to feel old for the area.. lol how many of you just don't like going into the club district?
I like going to the club district. It depends where you go, different nights different venues.
Parking prices are HIDEOUS, OUTRAGES!!! - it’s absolutely ridiculous at some places.
Fights - I really don’t see any. Perhaps I just never see them or pay attention...or I have been lucky.
it all depends on what you want. Saturday nights is crazy down there. ON a friday is not too bad. Thursdays are good. Its not too busy, people usually know where they are going and parking is cheap ($5). There is not a lot of traffic these nights either.
So, on that note, Mink this thursday! Rooftop patio party! Under the stars!
I was forgetting... if you are paying 25 bucks for parking, in the summer, when you can walk a little... you are nutz... the cheapest parking lot in clubland is the one north of the scotiabank thats on queen st... on that st... I hope you know where I am saying, it is $5 even on New Years Eve... believe me, I parked there....the only drawback is that it smells like piss in the stairs....
Inside the Holiday INN, its $10 tops.. underground, perfect in the winter... just dont get there past 10:30 because most of clublands industry staff park there.
The parking lots right across from the Holiday inn tend to be no more then 15.
If you can walk a bit and want a nicer one, try the Roy Thomson Hall across the street from the Princess of Wales Theatre, its $10 there tops always.
Queen St Street parking free after 9pm, King St and most side streets free after midnight.
You will pay $20 on Richmond St., Peter St, Adelaide east of John, and the one in the corner of Peter and Queen (ON QUEEN BESIDES ULTRA).

Thursdays - Come to Mink...the rooftop patio, just rocking chilled, open,.... Wetbar is full of 19 year olds...Ultra is good too, older crowd but way more expensive...
chillout patio on friday - THERAPY (I spin there), it is top of the line chilled lounge not tooo loud, nice, outside, etc etc etc......BLUEPOINT (not as relaxed but chilled out and my friends do that party)....
on a Saturday, older crowd.... This Is London, Menage, Easy on the 5th, and wherever you wanna be on King St. The Craziest best party to me, is Republik, not just because I host there on Saturdays... its just an awesome party, which is why I wanted to work there. Younger people, 19 - 27 but a crazy party regardless. Definitely a place to come and get your groove on, unfortunately its not spanish but reggaeton is mixed in there. Live to air on 105.1fm , Listen for yourself.
Sundays - Level (cheap, kinda gettoh and really young, but fun), Purgatory (starting again this Sunday, with me of course.. live to air on 100.7fm) Hosted by B*A and Pure Entertainment this long weekend's special event called ETERNITY. During the afternoon, THE DOCKS is fun... chillout on the patio, play some Volleyball, drink, dance in the afternoon and some of toronto's top djs and friends of mine (I dont work here) are there on Sundays afternoon.
I know these sound like self plugs but in my opinion, these are some of the best places downtown. Other recomendations would be the patio at Inside, Budo is more urban but its still cool, Lot 332 is good, Republik Fridays if you like alternative music it ROCKS, and thats about it......

Hmmm...no se loko Privilege is ALRIGHT but not sure why people try to make it seem like its AMAZING. Music is pretty good I can give ya that, but it's too small and crowded. I kinda feel bad for the guys that go and pickup girls there or even asking them to dance. Going back and looking at previous pics posted....Most look like they got hit by a BUS or two.

I know how you feel, I hate the little **** disturbers that go with the purpose of starting fight to prove how "tough" or how "bad" they are. It makes me laugh, and I just want to tell them to get a life. About feeling old, it seems like its just kids that go to clubs now a days, I went to Lot about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and I felt old... I stayed for an hour, then I went over to Centry Room with a buddy of mine, and it was so much better, older crowd, better music, a little more expensive, but when you walk right in with no cover, and a better atmosphere I guess its worth shelling out a little more dough for drinks.
I don't like going to the club district. I don't like going to any club district for that matter...except if there's live music....then I'd go....but if there isn't, I wouldn't go (as stated before).
