I don't know... I think the first red was definitely deserved. De Rossi might as well have punched the american in the nose.

The second... buf... I think it would have been a yellow in most leagues, if not for FIFA's new refereeing standards. Yes, it was a tough, two-feet tackle. Was it worthy of direct red? In my opinion, no. But I'm basing my opinion on the refereeing i've seen in the past. There have been much tougher challenges that have gone unpunished.

The final double-yellow = red... again. Nothing out of the ordinary. The stretcher wasn't called out at any point during the game.

But who knows. The result makes for an interesting group though. Let's see what happens.

SOLAMENTE para que Ghana tenga mejor chance para pasar al la otra ronda.
