I'm not saying anything about the enthusiasm comment, to tell u the truth i like the way they celabrate their goals....is a way of also showing respect to the other team.....

What I'm going on is the fact that u r saying that ecuador is not humble and not confident...

1) Humble: because like u said the way they celabrate is not like the Italians or other teams that think are better than the rest...they respect the fact that they have to work hard for that goals and also respect the team that they are palying against.

2) Confident: because of the way they move the ball around..only a teams with confidence can do that ....if u compare the team from 2002 to the one now, thats the key ingredient that they where missing.

now based on ur comment about stats meaning nothing, lets compare Brazils play which is rated 1 in the world to the one of Ecuador which is rated 39in the world, Ecuador has played a much better game than what they have...so if stats don't mean anything and the way they play and comments do, Ecuador is the #1 WC2006 team.

I don't think LB is judging the players and saying that they're $hitty or that Ecuador is the worst team.  It's just the WAY they celebrate.  Maybe this is the calm before the storm.  Perhaps Ecuador is a cautious team knowing not to place all their eggs in one basket.  I'm sure as they get closer to their goal, there'll be more celebration!!
