I haven't come around to that just yet.  Dad was in the hospital and thru us off track.  Should be leeching something soon.  I like anything that sounds good pretty much.  Not too picky with artist or types of music.

I hope you're dad's alright!!!

I'm just asking 'cause salsa is so varied now.....

From the Newyorican style to the 'salsa dura', colombian salsa to Son, Timba, etc....

Let me know if you need the info again.

Scr3w Super Latin Hits Straight up......not worth buying. The only good songs in the album are the ones done buy Eddie Palmieri....of course....True salsa at it's finest. The other ones are OK...but nothing special. If you like Victor Manuel....then you'll probably like the album.... If you like salsa.....then you probably won't. I'm still going to the concert though. His stuff is not that bad.....and just to see his musicians alone....is worth it.

PRESS RELEASE                                                              TUESDAY JUNE 13th 2006

– Sony/BMG

FIRST SINGLE RELEASED FROM VICTOR MANUELLE’S

NEW ALBUM

"NUESTRO AMOR SE HA VUELTO AYER" IS THE TITLE OF THE PRIORITY CUT FROM HIS NEW ALBUM FOR SONY/BMG

New York, March 27, 2006: "Nuestro Amor Se Ha Vuelto Ayer" is the eagerly awaited new single from Victor Manuelle. Composed by Claudia Brant and Alejandro Lerner, it’s the lead cut from his new album "Decisión Unánime" (Unanimous Decision) for Sony/BMG. The song debuts tomorrow on radio stations in Puerto Rico and the United States.

This first single, included on the new album on both salsa and ballad versions, scheduled for release on May 2 of this year.

"Nuestro Amor Se Ha Vuelto Ayer" also counts with a ballad version with a guest appearance by the Mexican pop sensation Yuridia.

This new musical project demonstrates clearly Víctor Manuelle’s ability to interpret different styles of Latin music, and his versatility in fusing musical elements of the most popular rhythms of today, while keeping front and center his essential longtime identity as a salsero and a romantic singer.

The video for this song wrapped in Miami last Wednesday under the direction of Gus Camacho. The video presents Victor Manuelle walking in a glass labyrinth in which the drama of the song is presented by means of an effect called "flare", in which the story is projected on glass, as if the camera were entering into the labyrinth. The video team included: Harvey Grisalez, executive producer; Gerardo Lopez, art director; Christoph Vitt, director of photography; and Miami-based models Stephanie N. y Alberto Boggiani. Victor Manuelle’s hairdresser and makeup artist was Martha Medina.

The video is expected to be on the air the second week of April.

Among Víctor Manuelle’s most recent achievements in the last year were prizes included the Premio Billboard for Latin music, various ASCAP awards celebrating his work as comoser, and he was chosen for the third consecutive year as one of the "50 Most Handsome" by People En Español.

Víctor has receieved a number of multiplatinum albums. His first album for Sony, Justo a Tiempo, appeared in 1993, and the following year he recorded Sólo Contigo. His third album, the Sergio George-produced Víctor Manuelle (1996) was his commercial breakthrough, and 1997's A Pesar de Todo was even bigger. He's never been out of the public eye since then. Ironías (1998), Inconfundible (1999), Instinto y Deseo (2001), and Le Preguntaba a la Luna (2002) were all chart-toppers with substantial radio hits, supported by concerts in major halls. In March 2004, his ninth studio album, Travesía, produced by Emilio Estefan, went to #1 on Billboard. In 2005 he released two live albums: Dos Soneros, his collaboration with Gilberto Santa Rosa, recorded live at San Juan’s Estadio Roberto Clemente; and Víctor Manuelle En Vivo Desde El Carnegie, recorded live at Carnegie Hall. These albums received high praise from critics and public and were recently nominated for the 2006 Premio Billboard for Latin music.

Decisión Unánime is his tenth studio album for Sony. It promises to be one of the most celebrated albums of the year, and demonstrates once again that by Unanimous Decision, Víctor Manuelle is in a class by himself.
