Well Needless to say, the Avatar should speak loud and clear.


Valderrama, definately one of my idols, along with Pele, Michael Jordan, Joe Montana, Wayne Gretzky and Curtis Joseph.  Curtis was a great goalie, but also all of the charitable work he did away from hockey.

Well...

The legends are always great to look up to....

but I was referring to players I've actully seen play....

Don Mattingly, Derek Jetter, Steve Sax, etc.....

I liked the Yankees as a team.....but my favorite players weren't Yankees....

I liked Roberto Alomar, Roger Clemens, Ricky Henderson, etc....

Though some of them did go on to be Yankees....I was a fan of them before that...

Who did you look up to as a kid?  Do you follow a particular players games?  Stats?  Yada yada yada??!! 


I've come to the conclusion, and it doesn't help with the World Cup going on now, that I will forever be OBSESSED with Carlos Valderrama!! 


I was looking at the FIFA website and nearly started to hyperventilate when I saw his picture!!!!
