nah, i feel horrible for you guys! sounds like you guys had a terrible time. i am recommending the dona luz buffet for lunch at 15$. i would not recommend it for dinner at 30$ (i think that's excessive for the quality). but ya id like to go again for lunch next saturday before it's over!!

hey, i did end up going to la cocina de dona luz on saturday to sample the buffet.

bottom line, the food is obviously not oustanding (hey it's a buffet) but it's most definitely worth the 15$ that they're charging for lunch. we were stuffed and the buffet had a large variety of different peruvian dishes.

In addition:  Marky Mark was unable to hear me from across the table as everyone's stomach was causing an uproar!!! 


And LaDyBug got stabbed by her yuca which she was able to drown with her spit!

Well I had fun. Service did suck, food wasn't great, splitting of the bill was unfair but I still had a good night. Definitely not the bestest but it was ok.

But Bainaman............was that not the best night you've ever had???  Reliving our youth??  Wondering if our parents were going to call us about breaking our curfew?  Walking up and down Eglinton??  In search of food as restaurants, upon seeing us, immediately locked their doors and turned off their lights???!!!!    I felt so rebeleous!!!  


As for my friend, well, my best friend is leaving so I can see my buddy taking his place!!!  He's awesome!!!  Great co-worker, supportive friend, and is always willing to experience other cultures!!  Plus I get FULL access to the TL!!!!!    Yippee!!!!!!


Thank you everyone for being so cool with him!  He was a nervous wreck at first and now he's looking forward to the next foro gathering!!!

I had amazing FAJITAS!!!.....I GOT A REALLY NICE BRACELET!!!....and "my friend" Dogo lent me $200 when I really needed it.....all I had to do was meet him on the corner of "I don't believe you" Blv. and "Pffffttt" Avenue.....LOL

Phata i don't know you but after last night i'm not sure i want to.


You set up an event and then don't even go your self no good (cc nash)


tsk tsk tsk.....what the hell is that?


Oh yea this night was truely memorable......as one of the worst nights ever.


The service was pretty brutal and i'm still waiting for my appetizer.


anyways next time i will think twice about going to events .....i shall now begin to base my decision of who organizes it.


As for the stiffers: this time i wish i was in your shoes....great move.

This was honestly one of the worst nights I've ever had!!!!!!


The most $$$ I've spent on the least amount of food, drink, etc....


But...


Good things come out of even the worst situations....


...I learned that individual bills are the way to go in large groups!!!
