The first costa rican goal was definitely offside. Overall though, I think they did quite decently.

Costa Rica has a lousy defence (two goals from outside of the box, and a third that was anulled), and a goalie with fingers made of butter, but overall, not too bad. Germany by no means walked all over them.

I watched the first half at a Pub during my lunch.


Costa Rica has only one forward, and he scored their only goal so far. they won't be able to beat germany, because they are not as organized in the field as the germans are.


Plus, they lack scoring power. the Germans attack in waves and with a controlled ball, while costa Rica is relying on long passes to their only striker.

Has anyone discovered any website that will transmit the games? So much for my boss bringing a t.v. He's in China (FKR)

About  4 hours .....  You get to the house drink a couple of beers and eat some nachos and salsa ...you watch the game and drink some more beers ....the game is done you want more beers ....you talk to your friends while you drink some more beers so yea ABOUT 4 HOURS !!!!

I guess noone is close to me so I'll be lonely watching the game, but I will be sure to have a few beers so I don't feel so lonely, damm and I have to come back to work, I hope to leave early so I can watch the ecuador game.

Ecuador plays at 3:00 ..... and is 45 min each half... ... but they might go over 2-5 min extra depending on the ref...
