Reminds me of a story of this Messican friend - he was telling us about how one time when he was borracho, he got robbed in Mexico that they left him without shirt or shoes - so he took a cab to his nearest friend to borrow a shirt and shoes from a friend.

Turns out he is petite - like Chale (say, 5'2"); but the friend is about 6"1... so the shirt and shoes is oversized... So, as they are sharing this story of getting robbed, they talk and have a few Coronas and get in the mood to go clubbing - they do - and at the end of the night, this Messicana was apparently impressed with his big shoes that she took him home - she strictly preffered men with big toes -err, I mean shoes...

So off they are finally at her place - she gets nakid, he starts undressing, takes off his shoes and the rest of his clothes... she quickly notices that his toe doesn't match the big shoes and she basically was pissed off and disapointed, called him a bunch of names and told him to get the FaCk out of her place

Poor guy - no toe to match the shoes, no lay!

No clothing does not make the man...But it does help.... I, for instance, do not really look at a man whos wearing tighter clothing then me..such a turnoff (Like Gino style..no offence to those who are Gino's) Normal cool baggy is good ..I am attracted to that better... but yeah NO TIGHT T'S OR JEANS....

See I used to think that too. You dress in a way that represents you but what if you are from another land and have no clue what is ...ummm....not acceptable Like acid wash for example is still acceptable in south america

I totally agree with having "Confidence" and yes...you gotz to know how to wear your clothes! Doesn't have to be a designer! just know how to dress up and show confidence!

Do clothes make the man? Sort of....kind of but not really but yeah a little.

Like when I met my husband he was dressed really well....okay not really well but we met at a concert and he had a look going on that I totally liked. When we actually met for our first "date" he looked like a ****ing disaster!! I was like OMG I can't be seen with this guy. He looked sooooooooooooooooooo freshy Argentino (no offence to the freshy Argentinos) but like he was rocking some whack threads. As the night when on I totally forgot about his silly look. I was like no this guy is is cool he is just..umm...fashionably challenged!! I let the silly look go on for a bit while dating him and then eventually I threw out all his nasty gear and made him buy new clothes. Now he looks good and has learned about how to dress. It's funny yesterday he pulled out a silly blast from the past and put it on to do some work around the house...this morning I threw it out

@MIMI I noticed you and Jefa had some nice sneakers when you guys came over Yeah people notice shoes.

nOPE clothes does not make the man!

1- he can be well dressed cuz his friends dress good but he doesnt know his white belt from his black shoes

2- he can be a fashion misfit (i see alot) Trying to look good but not being able to pull it off becasue hes not strong in how he wears his clothing.

3- he can look good and be metrosexual (in my eyes just means hes HIGH MAINTENENCE) WHICH translates to me in JEANS AND GOLF SHIRT NO GOOD (cc Nash) and also means I need to be dolled up 24/7 forget it!!!

Besides i think a guy looks good in nice shoes (for the sake of MM not Gold digging lol) jeans and a golf shirt or tshirt and nicely groomed means to me

1- he cares about his apperence but is layed back (which means jeans or jogger for me is good)

So thats my theory on it all!!!
