but I'm not claiming anything ... it's just a thought ... whether it is here in Canada or not it's possible that it can be done somewhere and I just feel it's wrong OMG!! I didn't know that about india
Sok... not saying you claimed anything either .
Just providing some figures on a relevant social scenario that is taking place today.
I will be quick to add, that this is happening without the intervention of the Bush administration, or the CIA, in case anyone was going to bring up the evil CIA conspiracy theory.
Unfortunately, for the time being, there is no caudillo salvapatrias a la Chavez, Castro, Morales, Lopez Obrador, Humala, etc. Nobody to liberate the noble indian people from this neoliberal yolk that they must endure, and the demographic consequences that this mental retardation entails.
But perhaps one day they will be lucky enough to be led by a worthy caudillo such as those great leaders previously mentioned.

Nope a designer baby is not that I'm cool with having a healthy baby, so I'm like yes-no with screening for diseases and if it can be prevented then why not ... What I don't agree with is designing your baby in terms of eye color, hair color, height, and well things like that ... a baby is a gift not something you should be able to like go to the store and purchase

That means you still like me LoL!!!!!!!!!!! unlike others
Ok but seriously, I have been reading about Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis *PGD*... Yeap! I actually have time to read THE STAR
So this is about GENETIC SCREENING which is available here for a mere $15,000
I think SCIENCE is trying to play GOD (RGNFG) and in the long run something bad will happen ... you can get this done if you want to prevent certain diseases only! But eventually I believe we will get into DESIGNER BABIES
Discuss.
Ohhhhhh, a question: What limits should there be on genetic testing?????????
