has anyone been to Berlins on Tuesday? i only went on the grand opening..and since then there is something up why i havn't been abel to go the Tuesdays afterwards...maybe i pass by tomorrow..no se....
It is like the old Berlin..brought out the good times..still 2 floors..but of course..everone in the main dance floor..upstairs..i never went..i think its the smoking area or whatever....NO TIGHT SECURITY..and im guessing b/c its an older crowd...no gangstas or looking gangstas..everyone was dressed up very elegante............reminds me a lot of Babalu's .........
i had a pass to go thorugh free.. but when i went in there was noone there to take my pass. I got there como a las 11:30.....not sure how much it is..i think they will charge $5. THe drinks are regular..una cerveza $5......
Cafe Cubano did a great performance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dress Code..everyone was pretty much comfortable..yeah a lot of people were dressed up..its an older crowd..... ordering drinks..not much of a wait time at aLL!! The sound was just great...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was sooo good..there was a LIVE BAND tambien..can't remember who they were but they were really great! they sang some good salsa..everyone danced and danced..you can tell everyone was having such a great time. The place is soooooooooo nice.....the floor..perfect to dance for Salsa I pray they do someting about the A/C though..we NEED IT!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the negative about this place! there was no A/C or something ...IT WAS FREAKIN HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT como que todo salieron del shower or something..lol..it was so hot. YOu should all go next week Tuesday!!!!!!!!! i think its a place to go and just dance...have a good time..
The band was CAFE CUBANO....
And the whole no A/C thing is a big NO NO for me....it reminded me of Momentos on Yorkville.....sauna!
Does it look anything like the old Berlin? Is it 2 floors? Just as big? Tight security?
