(I've done that ) and they're excited about soccer as well. @MM, he's from Nicaragua. That all sounds great.... ......'Till they screw you!!!! Then what?!?!?!?
I know! I'm gonna talk to the accountant now that I've got proof or their screwy ways.

doh! how big is this antenna? I guess i'll will just have to use it at home then, i do have a top of the line laptop but is it worth it to get this twinhan card then? are there any other ones that are better, what's the latest? How does this orb.com software work? is it just like jumptv? I guess I'm stuck watching the repeat games after work

I am about to buy the twinhan dvb-s usb for my laptop so i can watch the stupid games live from the office, it'll cost me $100 bux but i guess it's worth it since you get over 1000 channels free of charge!!! Free to air television is the latest craze in Europe, just came back from London and overthere you could even get sateliite internet for free with this dvb-s card! ne1 familiar with this at all?
do you know you need an antenna for a DVB-S card to work?? unless you're planning to set it up at home and stream the signal over the 'net... I tried the twinhan a couple years ago, it was decent, however you need a top of line PC.

@hugo, if you have a tv tuner card in your home computer you might wanna take a look at orb (www.orb.com), it allows you to stream your TV signal to any computer with internet access.
You could also look at jumptv.com they probably have more than 1 channel that will broadcast the games over the net, each channel is about 10 dollars a month.
OR ... you could ask someone to put a webcam in front of a TV and watch it using messenger
Games are at 08:30, 11:30, and 14:30... And MM is right they broadcasted the 2004 eurocup live! How come they're not doing it for the World Cup!!!!! If anyone finds something please share the wealth!! ohh btw this is for el duro, el duro es el que tienes en el kulo! lol
What if you have that thing that Rogers has???? Ummmm.....where you can tape things at home while you're at work without a VCR?!
That's the same thing as taping it! Nothing beats watching live. You know, so you can will your team into winning. LOL
Actually, in my case it's better that I don't watch them. I always seem to bring the team I'm rooting for bad luck. If I'm watching, they'll lose fo sho.

In Mexico we'd have an office party every time Mexico played and when I was at school, we'd watch the games at the principal's office. That was awesome. ummm yeah I think its a northamerican thing.,,,Cuz I was talking to a friend who lives in Argentina and he said they had scheduled their exams around the games..so they wouldn't miss the games! LOL isnt that funny...so i guess back in our countries..they take the day off or slack off for these games! ...I also heard Adidas employees in Germany will be able to stop working during soccer games..while at work...thats cool! Yeah here in Canada we slaves! thats so sad..you think theyll let us take the time off for a soccer game?!!?! I dun tink so!
It is cool! And it's not like I worked for a small time company either in Mexico, it was a big manufacturing company that ran 24/7. They actually stopped production for the games - only when Mexico played, of course. I worked for the director so we got to watch the games in his huge office with drinks and snacks. It was the bestest.

Yes please, if anyone knows anything let us know. Most of the Mexico games will be at 11:00 am. That sucks. I don't think a web-site will have them live Yesi
I don't think so either! And this isn't the type of thing you can tape. I might listen to the radio if worse comes to worse althought that SUCKS BIG HAIRY LEGS. I could so not live like they did in the past.

I don't think I'll be staying up to watch late matches but... who knows. THAT WOULD BE ME IM RE-SCHUDULING MYSELF TO WATCH THEM LIVE!!! RE-RUNS ARE YUCKY!!! PLUS I DONT THINK MY TEACHERS WOULD APRECIATE ME WATCHING SOCCER WHILE THERE TEACHING A CLASS AND HAVING ME IN THE BACKGOURND YELLING AND SCREAMING!!!
