And the heads of the TTC are saying that they have a very good puto feeling that this will be resolved by noon, yeah, think again !

I almost left my house not knowing about the strike, thank god friend.


I managed to get a ride from my co worker but now I'm not sure how I will be getting home.

you can't really blame those who take the TTC not making it to work.


Payin the taxi , you spend more than what u may get paid at work eh? or almost half! You rwork should be paying you for the TAXI!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless you're on contract or through an agency, you will get paid. The company will take it as a vacation day or a personal day

Exactly ! That's why I came back home. Paying 30 CAD or so is ok but a $100? Forget about it !


Big strike, supposevly because of the assaults on TTC bus and streetcar drivers but who knows, now they might go fo something else as well.

Well it will be only foro for me today ! I walked from my place to Finch station and back. Good walk though but there is no way I am going to pay $100 round trip to go to work.


I called my boss and I know she is not very happy about it but it's too much money.


Worst thing, is that when I heard the news on CP24 this morning, the guy just said "no streetcar, no bus" but he never mentioned the subway.


Trying to get a taxi was crazy, and they are charging you more than the flat rate. Some taxi company hve a 1 hour waiting time before they send you one and some, that you catch on the street won't take you because they don't want to go this way, or it's for far or not enough, etc.... believe me, I've been out of the metro station for more than an hour hopping for the door to open............yeahhhhhhhhhh right !

my mother called telling me she was walking to work.!! i woke up and turned on the TV. NO TTC!!!! My brother is affected to this! not moi..


I work from home!!!!!!! Yay! and its a US Holiday! so it will be a beautiful day for me
