Did your parents/guardian celebrate your birthday every year?? My daughter just turned 7 and every year I celebrate her Birthday with her friends from school and a few close friends. I had a hard time trying to decide where to celebrate it and decided to do the bowling party. What kind of birthday's did you have and at what age did you stop having parties??  -- Edited by Chica W at 16:19, 2006-05-27

As a single mother my mom made every year a special one and trust me its hard when ur kids bdays are May June and July!!! lol but we each got our own bdays and a party wether it was pizza at the house and cake (well our apartment building had a pool so every year was a pool party excpet mine in may cuz it was too cold) so i would get sleep over parties or at the recreation center downstaris i would have the gym rented and we would play for an hour!

also we had chucky cheese, mc donalds bday parties, at the park with bbq's!

and i guess being the only girl she had i got two quinces one here with my mom and family and one back home with my dad and family!

My mom never celebrated our birthdays for financial reasons, but for my quinceañera she bought me a cake. We wouldn't have celebrated it anyway 'cause there was a death in the family that year. Just my luck, the cake fell! I just wasn't meant to celebrate, I guess.

Same here but it's not because it wasn't allowed, just couldn't afford it. We (sister and I) only celebrated our birthdays when we were in the U.S. Although I think my brother had every birthday celebrated (talk about favouritisms )

As a kid, my mom always organized b-day party for me in our appt. we were around 15 to 20 kids running around like crazy, playing games or just going outside in the playground. It was just great ! She was baking may many different kinds of cakes, family frinds and friends from school were there.

My mom used to do such a great job for my BDAY. We used to have themed birthdays. We even had a party where everyone had to dress up like their favorite singer etc.

We stopped when I thought i was too cool for organized parties. So stupid.

I miss LOOT BAGS
