i went to see the game , i was there the second half . romario played really bad . he wasn t even close to be the best player on his team . he sucks . but he is old now though . i got an autograph from him and a pic with him .  i thought the lynx won the game , the score board said home 2 away 1 so i  guess they won . the lynx are alright but they look more like an amateur team than a profesional team , lots of young players in the lynx. And yea arango is a good defender , he went to humber college when i was there , he won the mvp , i think he also played in the under 20 world cup in argentina , where he was one of the best players in tha t team.

couldn't agree with you more.  its just a 20 min drive from downtown.  And besides there are no soccer stadiums downtown, where would they play out of??? Lamport??? that would be kinda sad.

It would be capable to hold all 17 or 18 fans that show up to watch!

Oh, so this is what you were talking about... I had no idea. I'm not soccer-informed, but this is very interesting.

The game is on right now as we speak.  It was sooo stupid for the league to schedule a game like this for the day.  They should be using Romario's name for marketing and ticket sales in each city that he travels to.  If this game was in the evening, I would guarantee that Centennial Stadium would be packed.

I hate it cuz u can clearly see that coach has postitioned all the players wrong! I dont know there names but im telling you its all POLITICS thats why hes the coach!!! Another thing i agree is the striker he cares more about defense (mind you has the wrong players in the wrong places) then making the system work!!!       Another thing he makes these guys run so much that they get tired and i mean they have subs but yet he doesnt make enough changes to give the guys a rest!!

You have to remember at that level you only have 3 substitutions per game.  So the coach is llimited there.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Advertising ... the Lynx???? They can't afford it, they do a lot of local newspaper advertising.  They can't afford TV, Radio, Billboard as forms of advertising mediums.  The relly on local newspapers such as the "Etobicoke Guardian" and things like that.  The only reason I found out about this, is because of Andres, some of the other guys that I went to school with that play there, and because a good friend of mine works at the head office.

For all you soccer junkies out there in Foro Land.

How many of you knew that 1994 World Cup Super Star Romario is playing today @ 11 a.m. at Centennial Stadium against our horrible Toronto Lynx???  How many of you  knew that he was playing in the USL (formerly known as the A-League) for Miami FC???

A couple of my friends from school are playing against him today, is wrong of me to make fun of them, telling them that he is going to school them???  One of the Lynx top defenders (Andres Arango) is a good friend of mine, and I was tellin him that Romario was going to turn him inside out.  But he knew I only busting his chops, actually I think he'll do well against him.
