theres alot of bs going on in canada when it comes to professional boxing thats why, in the states theres no limit with boxing but here its like its being held down. i box, i used to box serious for a short time until i got very busy and ended up having to put it on hold.. and well theres other problems too but if i could i would love to get in there and fight. there were a few professional boxers at my gym and they couldnt really fight in canada they ended up having almost all of their fights in the states or other countries where they went on to win some titles (minor titles, not major titles like wba, wbc, ibf and so on..) but yea.. there are very few professional bouts being held here compared to what could have been shoot its even hard to find good equipment here too ! but i love boxing soooooo much i could go on and on about it lol its always gonna be a BIG part of my life and even one day i have children i would love them to get involved and experience what i have and more with boxing im sure they will fall in love with it too. anyway the only things i hear about is amateur fights from the fighters from my gym but these guys have talent they've fought in the nationals, one was part of the olympic junior team and theres this other fighter his style is just crazy the way he moves around, weaves and dodges punches is reminiscant of prince naseem. so yea.. if you hear about any professional bouts let me know and i will do the same, and if your interested in seeing amateur bouts i could let you kno about that too.

I know us latinos can't wait till the World Cup which will begin in a few weeks but are there any boxing fans out there?  It seems like I'm pretty much the only fight fan out here?  I mean Toronto just don't compare to Los Estados Unidos con el boxeo being such a big sport.  Anybody know of any live boxing events going on around the city?  The last time I attended a fight was back in March at The Hershey Centre in Mississauga.  I love boxing and hope to hear more of us latinos talk boxing.  I mean us latinos and of course the African Americans dominate the sport of boxing so why not support the sport?  We Latinos got power and skills when it comes to fighting just look at Oscar De La Hoya, Julio Cesar Chavez, Marco A Barrera, Robert Duran, and Tito Trinidad to name a few.  Soy latino and proud of it especially knowing that we don't back down to nobody!
