Oh I agree with you, but it wouldn't hurt to mix the regular beat with other different beats to make it sound more interesting and up beat. I know if you take away the main beat that makes reggaeton what it is it wouldn't be reggaeton, but what I mean is add different beats to the main beat...I think you get what I'm trying to say.

This is so true...well like you most Jamaicans I know also love salsa especially my man lol and to them reggaeton is alright, but they feel that most reggaeton beats are all similar, which kinda makes it boring at times. I agree with that.  Most of the time when you hear a reggaeton song the begining is good and you think that the song is going to be bangin, and then they always go back to same old beats.

Of course I think Hispanic or Spanish when I hear salsa. I like reggaeton but I can't dance to it... it's not very danceable if you ask me. But whether it's salsa, merengue, bachata, latin rock or reggaeton... if you like it, you'll want to know more about it regardless of the genre.

I agree whatever I think it sucks but if it's making latinos rich....whatever.....get in on it while you can.

When u listen salsa ,. what do u think?? don't u think Hispanic or "Spanish",..probably most ppl from other culture don't know how to dance it,. but the exotic moves and rhytms bring them to find answers in our culture,.. of course everyone can dance reggaton,. well not everyone,. but as u said u move ur head,. but if u r dancing with someone ,. u won't only move ur head would u,. it s easier to learned,. and just stand while the girl rub her a$$ on ur....,. so yeah every man can do that,.

tell how regueton show latin culture???,. Hispancis have been known for tropical rhythm,. not for hip/hop and reggae,. (i like reggaton) ,.. I m not saying is a bad idea,. it s just  that i don't agree that reggaton shows the latin culture,. besides we are not in NY,. and about other types of music getting mix with reggaton is because is the BOOM now,. and what one of the reggaton singers said once (I don't rememember his name) "El regueton ha estado en el mercado por muchos aņos y no viene de la Gasolina para aca".

@SABOR..I am curious to hear your opinion ...actually not just your opinion....any promoters opinion besides Preito on one of the threads started in members section called "crooked latin promoters" since you only seem to be getting bigger I think your opinion would be appreciated.  I haven't really seen any other promoters on line so that is why I am asking you.  What is your opinion on the very negative re****tion LATIN promoters in toronto have and why do you think they are being viewed this way?
