I agree with Sweetness that younger ppl would have more posibility of live without the vaccine,. but why, if there is a risk of the bird flue , the goverment hasn't done something to get more vaccines,.or a program to prevent this illness???

I think the medical people, then children, then the rest. At my work, enough executives have been coming in to get the vaccine, but they only give it to people that are travelling over the high risk areas.

@Bainaman so you're asking who should get the vaccine first aside from the ones who will already be getting the vaccine, so in other words excluding medical personal, people who work in a medical setting and their families?

I think that everyone is important regerdless of their age or whatever, but I do think that the elderly, children, and those who are already sick should get it first, because I think that everyone else is strong enough to fight it off until more vaccines are made.

I dont get it, you really think that the goverment could not come up all the vaccines?at least 70% of it.

I would totally walk away from my grandparents and let them die a horrible death while I save my own Ass!!!!!!!!

I have one uncle who I would leave behind no problem but he deserves it...I hate him.

The most realistic example that you can all relate to is the flooding in New Orleans. There was a nursing home that was abandoned and several patients were left to die in their beds because the doctors and nurses left them to fend for themselves.

Was it fair to leave the patients to die in the flood because 'they were gonna die anyway?' What if it was your parents or aunt or uncle or grandparents? Would you still walk away?

yea in a way i agree with the elderly people not being vacinated first, but who would like to see their parents die from this? mine are elderly........it will kill me to see them leave this world......they are going to die soon but they are full of wisdom which many of us can learn from.

I guess it all depends what is going on in your lives at the moment.....

there is no right or wrong answer.

I guess the best solution is the one that eliminates the heart from any decision.

Another thing that comes into play is age discrimination.

If you say the elderly should go 'cause they're old and are about to die.......that's just flat out discrimination.

@ el mismo - I'm not a father....but I can see your arguement.

This could be very ugly if it does come to fruition.

Let's just hope it doesn't.
