OMG, you wanna get on my bad side, call me Carlota. UGH! I hate that! I've come to terms with ppl changing my name to Sandra, Erika, Karina, Perla, Clara and Carmen. But call me Carlota and you're dead in my book. © DJ Prieto.

For me it'd be my last name.  Last name is LARA and people always say LAURA   I hate it drives me thru the roof!!

When I was in school back home one of the monjas used to call me by my second name, don`t know why she did that, but I didnt really mind.  She`s the only person that has ever called me by that name.  In elementary school here there was one principal that used to call me Sandy, I didnt really mind that either.

I think JULIA sounds like a strong name, someone you don't mess with.....
When you get older they would have to call you sen~ora Julia, don't like that though.

From now on it is JULIE.....ok....not JULIETA....don't like Joe either.

I dont really mind the name change... sometimes people come up with really wicked nicknames... while other not-so-creative people come up with stupid ones. 

Just answer to the ones you like and ignore the ones you dont.
