Wise words. I think in our generation has become easier to get financial independence for women, but which is very important to me is emotional independence. It has a high value in my life.

I couldnt agree with you more!

I think that being independent isnt based on if you have a man at your side or not... Its based on how fulfilled you are as a person. 

I find independence in a woman to be something to be extremely proud of.

I think if I lived alone I would feel completely independent. But I'm the only single child living with a single mom. So I've got to stay with my mom for now to take care of her.

However, I do pay for rent, have a career, pay all my bills, help my mom financially, buy my own food and clothes, pay for my school debt and save for my future.
