Cannabis Week kicks off today.

The week-long celebration of marijuana culture begins with a launch party at the Neutral Lounge on College Street. The event features a burlesque and DJ show and starts at 8 p.m. Cost is $10 with all proceeds going to the Global Marijuana March of Toronto, a non-profit organization that produces Canada's largest march to promote legalization and freedom of choice.

According to the organization, 90 per cent of Canadians support the decriminalization of cannabis and most believe medical cannabis should be legal.
