Anyhow i've never tried this so good gallopinto, I'm sure it's good, I'll eat just about anything that has rice or beans in it. Ecuas are also big on beans.

I heard that some restaurant downtown does a "gourmet" version of it and the funny thing is that it has no rice and beans at all... Go figure. Gallo pinto is best served with sour cream on top (and some sort of chile, for those who like their food spicy) and accompanied by some sort of meat, cheese (nica cheese, si no no funciona) and plátano frito. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Oh, and the beans de preferencia from Central America.
Restuarant downtown does a "gourmet" version of Gallopinto??? loL more like a can of beans and the box of rice...como que se llama ..Mr Rice ..mr algo..i dont'even know..and they call it "gourmet"
Uuyyyy q horror!
