I thought the concert was pretty good.  Mind you, I was hoping to hear some more classics like "Un Verano en Nueva York" and "Azuquita pal Cafe", but their repertoire was very good.  And the fact that they have been together over 40 years shows a lot about the band.  That was awesome.  "Me Libere" was an amazing song.  It was nice to bump into some foro members there, even if it was just for a few minutes.

My only regret was that I didn't knew the lyrics of the song I would have love to sing along with the band and the crowd but this did not kept me from having a good time !


I really enjoyed it and it could have kept going on all night.

I guess.....but you make your own party.


There was a time where all my "so called friends" ditched me.......


They left me by myself......and I just started to sing along and dance by myself........


People thought I was crazy....in fact...this woman kept turning around and looking at me funny......but I didn't care.....I was having a great time....enjoying a legendary band.


This is the second time I've seen them.....and they're just amazing!!!


Worth every penny!

Where I was....people were singing, dancing, partying......all the things you'd want people to do at a concert. Maybe you got a bad spot in the place.......No se....

The band, was ABSOLUTELY incredible!!!  I am SO happy that I went to this concert.  The people, on the other hand, made me feel SO embarassed and ashamed to be hispanic.  It was such a non-enthusiastic crowd that I found showed very little respect for a band that deserves A HELL OF A LOT MORE CREDIT than they received last night.   


I also found that the word I'M SORRY or EXCUSE ME didn't even exist as I managed to get my drink spilled all over me.   


Also, when you have the ex-girlfriend of an ex-boyfriend on your case AND you're with the current boyfriend, it makes for some REALLY GOOD HEADACHES!!!!!!!!!!  You're a certified NUTCASE!!!!!!!!! 


After, I found a spot where it was all the parents/grandparents hanging out and had a blast in that section!!! 


Then when I left, I had a fantastic gourmet hotdog, and started to walk home!  I almost made it until Confu and Julie ran me over and drove me home!!!

I have to say one thing.


I saw something last night....that totaly blew me away.


HUMILITY AND RESPECT!!!!


El cantante, por lo general, recibe la gran mayoria del merito cuando una banda se hace famosa. Anoche.....al Gran Combo....se les presento con una placa de agradecimiento. Llamado a la tarima para aceptarla...fue Charlie Aponte..uno de los cantantes del grupo......pero fue el saxofonista (Freddie Miranda o Eddie Perez..no me acuerdo cual) que lo acepto.....Y lo primero que hizo...fue llamar a la hija de Rafeal Ithier (fundador del grupo) para que lo aceptara en nombre de su padre. Eso a mi me impreciono.......es mas....la esperaron hasta que viniera a aceptar la placa...ella no estaba cerca y tomo un par de minutos para llegar.


Anyway.....my point is......that it really showed that it's all about "the band"....not the individual. You can sssooo see it on stage.....and the way all three singers carry themselves........NO EGOS!!!!  Always putting the band first...and respecting the work of the Rafael Ithier as founder of the group. This is rare....and making it more rare....is the fact that all three singers are GREAT singers....and still.....NO EGOS!!!!

Gracias a ti hermano por tu cooperacion, yo creo que todos tubimos una noche inolvidable y el que se perdio este concierto no sabe... simplemente no sabe lo bueno que estubo.  Pero este evento no hubiera sido posible sin el gran apoyo que recibimos  de  Luis D  (la Mega ) N.Y y Voces latinas (Toronto), Dj Franklin , Jose Sid, Soledad, Guido, Jay, Ana, Los masisos del sabor (hamilton), Oscar y Vanessa (www.latinenergy.ca), la gente de www.Torontodominicano.com, pero un Agradecimiento muy especial a Aitana, Gracias por ese apoyo que siempre recibimos de tu parte.  Si me olvido de alguien por favor disculpas es que todavia estoy durmiendo.   Nos vemos en el proximo concierto, aunque todavia no hay nada concreto pero el proximo concierto les prometo que sera igual o mejor que el de anoche.

I THOUGHT I LOST MY VOICE FROM YELLING OUT EVERY SONG!!!!


GRAN COMBO WAS AMAZING!!!! GREAT CONCERT!!!!!


I WISH ALL THE CONCERTS WERE LIKE THIS.


OSCAR AND VANESSA DID AN AMAZING JOB DANCING. TOO BAD THEY PLAYED THE SAME SONG TWICE.....BUT THEY HANDLED IT LIKE THE TRUE PROS THEY ARE!!


KUDOS TO SAMYPREZ AND HIS TEAM!!! CON MIL PATADAS PERO SIEMPRE PA' LANTE!!
