I actually had this discussion last weekend with family members. We all agreed that it all depends on who it is that says it, what state they are in (sober or not). Typically ill get upset if someone talks to me like they know me and swear. I tend to get defensive in that case. And of course if they keep being confrontational i won't back down. Unless i have my kids with me.

I get into verbal fights all the time but physical? You'd have to actually threaten me physically to get me to retaliate.... or start a thread about me.. either or.

For sure.. martial arts are great exercise, and a lot of fun. They will also give you a very good idea of what can happen in a fight.
The ones looking for fights tend to be stupid young men that don't have a clue how easy it is to end up in a hospital as a result of one.
I don't fight and words don't get to me at the point of starting one. Ignorancing them is much worst than getting back at them ! Much more fustrting SOme pple are constantly looking to pick a fight, pfffffffffffffffff, que hueva ! They need to grow up a little and do something constructive with their life. Nothing anyone can say to me would lead me to a fight. Ever. Not at 32 years of age.
A few months ago I was at the US consulate, investigating how to get a visa to work in the states. I overheard the conversation of a woman who had been charged, at 18, with fraud. Apparently, she had used her stepmothers credit card without her permission to buy - get this - a bikini.
Yes, her stepmother charged her. Result? A criminal record at the tender age of 18.
Sure, later she applied for a pardon, and got it. But somehow, she still shows up on the computer screens. The last time she had tried to get into the states she had been rejected at the border. She wanted to know how to avoid this situation in the future, since she had to go to the states on business.
The woman was a lawyer, an overall decent member of society (despite being a lawyer ), but she did something stupid at 18, and is still paying the consequences.
I can't be bothered with that sort of BS.
Nothing short of actual assault will get me to answer in kind.

The only person I have fought with physically was my brother ... ya ya ya I'm that kinda person where you can say whatever you want y no hago nada PERO I have girls like Chale that have my back so watch out

What does someone have to say to you that would instigate a fight from you. A physical fight not verbal. Would they have to say something personal about you, your momma or anything else?
I'm not a fighter. I haven't been in over 10 years and there hasn't been a reason to. But if someone ever said something about my mom directly to me I would definately get into a fight.
